Diversification

Companies diversify for a host of reasons. In some cases, it’s a survival strategy. For instance, if your company makes the bulk of its sales at a particular time of year, it makes sense to consider diversification. By extending your portfolio of products or services you can ensure a regular revenue stream from January through to December. In other words, the canny ice cream seller will turn purveyor of hot soup come winter.

However, there are plenty of other good reasons for diversification, not least by extending your range of goods or services you can either sell more products to your existing customers or reach out to new markets. This can supercharge your growth prospects. And perhaps the biggest reason for doing it is to extend a brand reputation into other markets, with the knowledge that one ‘winner’ could be the drop of snow that starts the avalanche, making your business bigger than you ever imagined. WHEN TO DIVERSIFY YOUR BUSINESS
A note of caution though. History tells us it’s not advisable to consider diversification until your core business is stable and profitable. If you’re still struggling to win orders and build a sales time for the core product, there is a real danger that diversification will take your eye of the ball.

The catalyst is often the realisation that growth in the core business is either slowing or set to slow, often because the market for a particular product is becoming saturated.

DIVERSIFICATION STRATEGY
You can diversify your business by natural progression. For instance, if you sell men’s shirts, adding ties and cufflinks to the range is an obvious next step. More radically, you extend the brand by offering a much wider range of products that will nonetheless appeal to the same customers. Alternatively, you can use the strength of brand to move into new markets. As Richard Branson’s Virgin and Stelios Haji Ioannou’s easyGroup have demonstrated, strong brands can be extended into very diverse business areas.

Another popular business diversification strategy is to look backwards and forwards along the supply chain for opportunities to tighten your grip on the market. For instance, in the recent past we’ve seen building societies buying estate agents and computer manufacturers buying resellers. In the US Google has busily acquired the leading web data analysis tools (Urchin and Measure Map), online advertising companies (DoubleClick), and the social networks and sites that deliver what they unerringly know their users want (YouTube).

DISADVANTAGES OF DIVERSIFICATION
Diversification can put you on the fast track to growth but if the strategy fails it can also burn up money. Expand your product range and even if turnover increases, the increase in costs could result in a slump in profits. Extend your brand into new markets and there is a danger that it will have no resonance with the newly targeted customers. Thus it’s vital to research new markets before diversifying.

You should also look carefully at your existing business. Do you have the right managers to cope with a divaricating strategy? Should you integrate the diversified business into one company or ring fence the new operation as a business in its own right? And is your organisation strong enough to be an umbrella brand where your core values resonate across the group? Think hard before you commit your finances and precious time. Today when I see and reverse my memory back to November when we started! have gained a lot not only my self as well you. today we have our blogs with more then 60 posts plus divisions with great foundation, every things are settled, Accounting from my side is ready to launch, the problem I face is lack of information regarding all financial transaction, I am following Credit card transactions but dont know where to put or under which have to post. yeah it is deficult for you and you hired me for only this purpose and I am tring to work hard as I can. The first wish of me is to make you self free of all Byss workload I know you are working alot which is not good in presence of me.

I am tring to make a web site for Byss Quick PSD in future (already started work on it hiddenly) what you a sentance? Blast of Byss? I think,

To All The Bad Men, People and Companies

I will not be punished for my talents. I say that to people a lot. And I know that I am worth so much more than my advertised rate. Hell on paper I made a client $2,000 the other day. And I have been described as “the best gardener I have seen” by an 82 year old woman whose father made his fortune growing specialty grasses in England and herself ran a nursery/garden store in Victoria, B.C. – and I’m not even a gardener Iam a Ditch Digger – Bitch Nigger the Ditch Digger.

And rather than waste their money on the masturbatory sessions Texada Island Economic Development should put me up in the hotel so that I have 24 hour internet access to explain the island to B.C., Canada and the World. Oh yeah they should throw in a student interested in media (pictures/video) and the whole exercise could probably make money on Google adwords.

It’s not my fault that the idiots at CounterPath, ReThink and The Vancouver Police Department saw my attempt to show them my talents as Criminal Harrassment Case #???? It’s not my fault that they wasted their, their investors? and the taxpayers monies by totally misunderstanding me and feeling threatened. Hanging on a little too fearfully to their overpaid positions?

There is only one song for all these people. The song that I am on the record stating that it is The Greatest Pop Song Ever. From the song: “Look at yourselves see how you lie your hands start shaking and you don’t know why.” When I look at myself I know why. I know I will no longer be punished for my talents.

(a strong rake where the tynes don’t bend), has a chainsaw, has a Swedish Bush Axe (my favourite tool – makes short work of branches), has a company so I can issue receipts, charges HST so everything is above board, has, has, has, etc. etc. etc.

The only thing Bitch Nigger The Ditch Digger doesn’t have is a job. Oh BNTDD (Bunted? – to coin a baseball Meta4) is also a social networking genius and has other computer abilities. He also has access to his accountant who knows both hardware and software and can fix computers remotely using Team Viewer.

Iam Not Good Will Hunting – Iam Good Man Wanting

Iam Bitch Nigger the Ditch Digger.

This is my version of Charlie Chaplin’s “The Tramp“.

Bitch Nigger the Ditch Digger because Iam tired of trying to work with people. As Marlene Dietrich said: “I vaunt to be alone” – Iam haunted by being alone.

As it turns out the carpenter can’t work. He has his limitations because of physical ailments or disabilities. I will still hang out with him. Because I know that any physical or psychological disability is balanced with a mental ability. Maybe he will teach me to make things like he did in his life. Maybe I could learn some “in demand” skills.

In the meantime I will be Bitch Nigger the Ditch Digger and will continue writing and “not haunting to be alone”.

Oh yeah and re the title. I totally found a new company song or anthem. This time instead of labeling it Elton John’s Levon I called it Bernie Taupin’s Levon – cause really those lyrics – I’m going to strive to write lyrics like those in the ditch.

A few years ago when I started my career as a computer operator at a travel agency in Islamabad I had a very little knowledge of operating systems (Windows 98). It was a data entry job and my typing speed was not quite as good as required. I was worried about losing my job and asked a friend to help me out. This was my first encounter with “desktop sharing” using the default Windows software “Remote Desktop”. He was able to log onto my computer and help me with typing and I also learned other aspects of computer software. It was inspiring and the start of the struggle to learn computers. Today I am able to not only use many types of software but also to assemble most types of personal computers.

At the time remote sharing saved my job. Now I want to share some of the things I am doing with Team Viewer – an advanced version of desktop sharing. (There is other desktop sharing software that records key punches as well as other hacking and monitoring software.)

Nowadays, as CTO of Byss Services Inc. I am trying to identify the proper way to use the proper software in the most productive way. I am using Team Viewer to clean up our CEO’s computer as well. Sometimes repairs to software must also be made. I also use it to teach him about his computer and his smart phone when it is plugged into the computer.

This is all done in the hope of helping people with computer issues through “the cloud”. Another interesting way I use the cloud is to access the CEO’s credit card to make payments on behalf of the company. The host computer (CEO) must give me access through a password that is refreshed every time he uses his computer. So he only has to grant access when he wants to.

I am teaching others because I believe knowledge grows more when you share it. Byss Services Inc. is a team and we all share openly our hopes, desires and fears when it comes to computers. I am a computer teacher and Iam IAn jum.

As that time remote desktop saved my job today the advance version of dasktop sharing is Team Viewer. there many other software who do the same work like key punch recorder who record key punch of onec computer. and other hacking and monitering software who work on same pattrens.

now a day I am using the technology for the right use, I am using team viewer to teach and repair others computers. Iam using it even bypassing the Credit card regional security which is awesome it is legal because each time you try to connect, it asked for password for remote computer you tried for. what I think each thing have uses: first good use and the second bad use.
